Looking Good During Pregnancy
Worried that your pregnancy will cause you to "lose your looks"? Fret not! Here are some tips to looking fabulous during pregnancy.
Hormone changes during pregnancy can cause changes in your complexion and this is when you should consider adjusting the types of cosmetics you use. If you are experiencing acne or oily skin, you may want to switch to noncomedogenic, oil-free moisturizers and foundation. If you are experiencing chloasma (also called "mask of pregnancy"), this can be tackled easily with foundation or concealer to even out the blotchiness and uneven skin tones.
Keep your makeup routine simple! During your pregnancy, you are likely to be feeling very tired and you probably won't want to get out of bed early to put on your makeup. Furthermore, your makeup application time will be seriously compromised once you have a baby to take care of. If you are not used to going out with makeup, try to bring down to the basics - foundation, mascara, blusher and lipstick/lip gloss.
Do also note that during pregnancy your skin may be more sensitive. So choose products wisely by watching out for the ingredients in your makeup.
Remember, you still can look gorgeous when you are pregnant! :)
